Since 1984 Dr Anthony (Tony) Fauci has been the Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) which is a branch of the National Institute of Health (NIH). For 38 years he has been the gatekeeper for billions in scientific funding and infectious disease strategic direction. He has served under 6 Presidents and on many influential government and private boards both in the United States and around the world.
In June of 2021 he claimed he was “The Science”!
Dr. Anthony S. Fauci, is a native of Brooklyn, New York and after completing his residency he began work in 1968 at the NIAID, and has been there ever since.

- Today – Still is the Director of the NIAID and “oversees an extensive portfolio of basic and applied research to prevent, diagnose, and treat established infectious diseases such as HIV/AIDS, respiratory infections, diarrheal diseases, tuberculosis, and malaria as well as emerging diseases such as Ebola and Zika.”
- On August 22, 2022 Fauci announced he would be retiring effective December 2022.
