Harvey A. Risch is Professor Emeritus of Epidemiology in the Department of Epidemiology and Public Health at the Yale School of Public Health and Yale School of Medicine.
Dr. Risch received his MD degree from the University of California San Diego and PhD from the University of Chicago. After serving as a postdoctoral fellow in epidemiology at the University of Washington, Dr. Risch was a faculty member in epidemiology and biostatistics at the University of Toronto before coming to Yale. A pandemic with relatively low mortality is not managed by counting the cases, it’s managed by preventing hospitalisation and mortality.

- Graph shows the distribution of mortality (prior to Omicron) by age group, which shows almost no mortality in the youngest age groups 64 years or less. The mortality that exists in the young age groups is due to chronic conditions such as obesity, diabetes, chronic heart disease, chronic kidney disease, the immuno-compromised. Even in the older aged groups the mortality is amongst those people who have multiple chronic conditions.
When you have such low or non-existing mortality in these low age-groups the potential serious adverse effects of the vaccine will surmount the non-existent mortality in these age groups.
…all these approvals for these vaccines that have pushed their way down into these low age groups had no reason to be there in the first place because there was no mortality that they were trying to prevent.
We already know the vaccines don’t prevent spread, as the CDC said on August 11th, they don’t prevent transmission, so the only point of them is for personal protection as treatment if one wants to choose that, and yet there’s no reason to choose that when the mortality from the infection is orders of magnitudes less than from the vaccine.
