Maajid Nawaz is a British Muslim and former trained terrorist who was recruited at a young age into an extreme Islamist organisation where for 13 years he was a radical, up until the age of 24, when he ended up as a political prisoner in Egypt. “Now he spends his time rebutting the very narrative he once passionately promoted” – Countering the Narrative!

In 2008 Maajid founded of the worlds first anti-terrorism think-tank Quilliam International, where he has assisted governments around the world to counter terrorism. But when COVID hit he shut it down “because they have weaponised this debate”.
The idea is to “undo what I did, but to use the same strategies and skills that I learnt inside these organisations” to use against their message. To help people understand brainwashing and manipulation tactics, and to identify these in our lives.
Maajid was let go of his job when he announced he wouldn’t get a third jab, even though he was already double jabbed!
