Dr Sunetra Gupta is a professor at Oxford University, an epidemiologist with expertise in immunology, vaccine development, and 35 years experience in mathematical modelling of infectious diseases
In early October 2020 she, along with two of her esteemed colleagues, Dr. Jay Bhattacharya and Dr. Martin Kulldorff, wrote The Great Barrington Declaration, and released it to the public on October 5, 2020. It was a plea to the world to take a more “focused protection” approach with the COVID-19 measures to prevent the inevitable devastation that will result from the current lockdown and restrictive measures.
