NIH establishes ARPA-H for fast tracking “high-risk, high-reward” biomedical research

On May 24, 2022 the National Institutes of Health (NIH) announced the establishment of a new structure the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (or ARPA-H), inspired by former director Francis Collins.

With a mission to improve the U.S. government’s ability to speed “high-risk, high reward” biomedical and health research, ARPA-H will serve as an independent entity within the NIH and embrace the public-private partnership model used to develop the warp-speed COVID-19 experimental gene technology products referred to as vaccines. [1]

Shortly after, on April 30, Bill Gates writes an article advocating for developing, manufacturing, and injecting these [now accepted] mRNA vaccines even faster in the next potential pandemic!
