Frewenas as Coordinator General of the National COVID Vaccine Taskforce (NCVT), to be known as Operation COVID Shield, as part of the ‘National Covid Vaccine Campaign Plan. This appointment provided him “direct operational control of all relevant assets and resources across the Commonwealth.” The belief being that “vaccination is the most effective means we have to build nation resilience. Once we reach threshold vaccination rate levels, we will be able to live with this virus and begin our recovery.” [1, 2]

Australia had $5 billion worth of Advance Purchase Agreements (APA) for COVID-19 vaccines with 5 manufactures, with $2 billion committed for distribution. They were already discussing distribution of vaccines with “future strains of COVID-19”, which should read SARS-CoV-2!
On August 9, 2023 Senator Malcolm Roberts questioned whether the Medical Counter Measures Consortium, the milatary forces of Australia, America, Britain and Canada, run COVID-19, of which Australia joined in 2012 under the Labor-Gillard government.
