Report: Biden Adminstration found to pressure FDA into licensing mRNA vaccine

On June 24, 2024 the US House Judiciary Subcommittee on the Administrative State, Regulatory Reform, and Antitrust, led by Chairman Thomas Massie released a report detailing "how the Biden Administration pressured the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to go beyond its regulatory authority to change its procedures, cut corners, and lower agency standards to approve the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine and authorize boosters" [1, 2] "During the pandemic, politics overruled science at the government institutions entrusted with protecting public health. The FDA abandoned its congressional directive to protect citizens from false claims and undisclosed side effects, and instead ignored its own rules to pursue a policy of promoting the vaccine while downplaying potential harms." [1] The FDA "cut corners in its usually rigorous BLA process to brand the Pfizer EUA vaccine as the only fully licensed "safe and effective" COVID-19 vaccine on the market at the time"

The Global Polio Eradication Initiative (GPEI) begins

On May 13, 1988 at the 41st World Health Assembly the global polio eradication goal was set (resolution WHA41.28 [9]), marking the beginning of the Global Polio Eradication Initiative (GPEI).   At the time "over 35,000 cases" of polio were reported to the WHO. [1, 2]  In October 2023 the WHO claim that 1988 polio case number was 350,000 cases! "Until the 1950s, polio crippled thousands of children every year in industrialized countries." The Salk Inactivated Polio Virus (IPV) vaccine was released in 1955 (along with polio outbreaks and SV40 contamination) followed by Sabin's Oral Polio Virus (OPV) vaccine in 1963, following which WHO declare "polio was brought under control, and practically eliminated as a public health problem in industrialized countries". [8] Polio wasn't recognised in developing countries until 'lameness surveys' were conducted during the 1970s, following which national immunization with OPV began under the WHO's EPI program. [8] Polio was technically called Paralytic poliomyelitis, said to be "irreversible".  In April 1999 the WHO redefined cases as Acute Flaccid Paralysis (AFP) [6, 7] In 1997 the number of reported polio cases fell to 5,160, an almost 90% decrease [1, 2] In 1997 philanthropist Mr. R.E. (Ted) Turner made a gift of..> READ MORE

Vaccine Confidence Project (to measure and track public trust) is funded by BMGF

On March 1, 2012 the Vaccine Confidence Project (VPC)  launched it's website.  The projects stated purpose was to anticipate, monitor and understand issues around public confidence in vaccines. With "public trust' as an issue documented in 2008,  just before the 2010 WHO Decade of Vaccines launch, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation provided funding for the "Project to support public confidence in Immunization Programs" which began around February 23, 2011 at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) and led by Dr Heidi Larson, a "social and political" focused PhD scientist, formally with UNICEF, GAVI, Harvard and Chatham House. [5, 6] Officially the VPC state that Heidi Larson began the project in 2010.  Larson also served on the WHO SAGE Working Group on vaccine hesitancy. From the start the LSHTM team began developing a Vaccine Confidence Index (VCI) in order to measure and track perceived public confidence in vaccines. The index planned to be "based on a select number of factors identified from extensive analysis of areas of both low and high vaccine coverage." [3, 4]  Australia's VCI rating. On July 18, 2012 at the Society for Risk Analysis World Congress themed “Risk and Development in a Changing..> READ MORE

WHO declared smallpox eradicated

On May 8, 1980, the 33rd World Health Assembly, the World Health Organization (WHO) officials declared smallpox eradicated (WHA33.3) with the statement 'the world and all its peoples have won freedom from smallpox"..."Such an achievement is unprecedented in the history of public health." [1, 3, 4] The Global Commission for the Certification of Smallpox Eradication, which began in May 1978 and was led by Australia's Frank Fenner, submitted their final report in December 1979.  The report contained two conclusions: "that smallpox eradication has been achieved throughout the world; and, second, that there is no evidence that smallpox will return as an endemic disease". [5] The acceptance, as public health policy, of a planned programme designed to eradicate a disease over a large geographical area was a new development.  The global programme on smallpox eradication was initiated by the WHO in 1958 (WHA11.54). In 1966, the 19th WHA requested that the director general of WHO launch a global programme to eradicate smallpox, from 1967 the international cooperation "intensified". [5, 6, 7] Dryvax, a smallpox vaccine, originally licensed in 1944 to Wyeth Laboratories, Inc. was used in mass vaccination campaigns. [2] "Before 1967, the smallpox eradication strategy relied on mass vaccination. However,..> READ MORE

WHO Technical Advisory Group on COVID-19 Vaccine Composition (TAG-CO-VAC) is created

In September 29, 2021 the WHO established the Technical Advisory Group on COVID-19 Vaccine Composition (TAG-CO-VAC), as an "independent" group, yet the Chair and Vice-Chair are Influenza specialists from Australia (Peter Doherty Institute) and USA (CDC) respectively, who already "collaborate" with the WHO.  There are other members. [1] The purpose of the group is to assesses the impact of SARS-CoV-2 Variants of Concern (VOC) on the current COVID-19 vaccines and determine whether changes to vaccine antigen composition is needed for the upcoming seasonal COVID-19 vaccine - just as is done for influenza vaccines because rapidly mutating viruses always posses the capacity for immune escape! The intent is to achieve "minimally acceptable" levels of "protection of persons at at high ongoing risk of COVID-19 such as healthcare workers and for reactive use in outbreak settings with rapid onset of immunity." [2, 3, 4]  WHO has the entire system set up for annual COVID-19 vaccination - from virus to vaccine to implementation - into the mRNA Platform. On January 11, 2022 the first of many reports was released by TAG-CO-VAC, called "for the development of COVID-19 vaccines that have high impact on prevention of infection and transmission, in addition to protection against..> READ MORE

Ebola oubreak in West Africa – the catalyst for global R&D and regulatory preparedness

On March 23, 2014 the WHO release news of a rapidly evolving outbreak of Ebola virus disease (Ebola Hemorrhagic Fever) in forested areas south eastern Guinea, West Africa. At that date Ministry of Health (MoH) of Guinea were aware of 49 cases with 29 deaths, concluding a case fatality rate of an alarming 59%! The very next day on March 24, 2014 it was communicated "a total of 86 suspected cases in-cluding 59 deaths" providing a case fatality ratio of 69%! [1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7] On July 31, 2015 it was reported the "World on the verge of an effective Ebola vaccine", where Phase III trials of developed of  VSV-EBOV were claimed to be " highly effective against Ebola", used in a "ring vaccination protocol".  The vaccine was developed by the Public Health Agency of Canada, then licensed to NewLink Genetics, and on November 24, 2014 to Merck & Co. [5]  The ring vaccination protocol provided an alternative to using a placebo! The vaccine trial design group "included Professor Donald A. Henderson of John Hopkins University, who led the WHO smallpox eradication effort by using the ring vaccination strategy". In 2003 the WHO stated: "The Ebola virus was..> READ MORE

Australian govt. confirms medical professionals “should” obtain “informed consent” for CV19 jabs

On November 17, 2022 the Australian Federal Government, Department of Health and Aged Care sent a letter of reply to Elizabeth Hart who inquired about medical indemnity for health professionals who administer the COVID-19 vaccines. The government stated "Informed consent should be obtained for every COVID-19 vaccination, as per usual consent procedures for other vaccinations." [1] This concurs with a Septermber 20, 2021 letter from the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) stating that "Practitioners have an obligation to obtain informed consent for treatment, including vaccination. Informed consent is a person's voluntary decision about health care that is made with knowledge and understanding of the bendefits and risks involved..."

Office International des Epizooties (OIE) is established – precursor to WOAH

Spurred on by the emergence of rinderpest disease (German for "cattle-plague") at Antwerp port in Belgium, on January 25, 1924 an international agreement between 28 States was obtained to create the Office International des Epizooties (OIE) based in Paris. An agency for overseeing animal disease status world-wide. [1, 2] The International Committee of the Office held its first General Session on March 8, 1927 choosing their heads and establishing a Bulletin. On January 30, 1928 the first international Conference was held in Geneva to begin the International Sanitary Policy. [1] When the United Nations formed the OIE fought to remain following the creation of the FAO and WHO agencies.  Through time official agreements were signed with these initial UN organisations, then with IICA, WTO, OIRSA, SPC PAHO World Bank, WVA, IFAH and more. [1] In May 2003 the agency adopted the name World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH). With over 70 global organisation and its Members the WOAH "coordinate the global response to animal health emergencies, the prevention of zoonotic diseases, the promotion of animal health and welfare, and better access to animal health care".[3] In 1992, the OIE adopted the first standards/criteria for classifying Highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI)..> READ MORE

COVID-19 vaccine global access (COVAX) facility – to accelerated vaccine development and manufacture

On August 6, 2020 WHO released their COVID-19 vaccine global access (COVAX) facility document to justify their "accelerated vaccine development and manufacture." [1] WHO, Gavi and CEPI launched the COVAX facility to ensure global equitable access to COVID-19 vaccines and end the acute phase of the pandemic by the end of 2021. [9] "Developing a vaccine against COVID-19 is the most pressing challenge of our time" claiming the IMF estimated in April 14, 2020, that a vaccine [that didn't exist] would "prevent the loss $375 Billion to the global economy every month". COVAX is the "vaccine" arm of the April 2020 United Nations collaborative ACT Accelerator Gavi launched the finance arm, COVAX AMC on June 4, 2020 Australia’s Jane Halton, who is the Chair of CEPI is also the co-chair of COVAX.  Australia has signed agreements.  “In early 2020, CEPI raised US$2b to expand the number of vaccine candidates to increase the chances of success, and fund the clinical trials”. The COVAX Shareholders Council meetings began November 3, 2020 in Geneva. [10] COVAX coorinated vaccine roll out to to 92 low- and middle-income economies. COVAX began to take shape early 2020, and was sold based on the claim that “no..> READ MORE
