TGA: Advisory Committee on the Safety of Vaccines (ACOSV) is established, the precursor to ACV

On November 12, 2012 Australia's drug regulator the TGA began recruiting members for the newly established Advisory Committee on the Safety of Vaccines (ACOSV) as regulated "under Part 6 Division 1EB of the Therapeutic Goods Regulations 1990 (the regulations)"  the purpose of this body is to "advise and make recommendations to the Minister for Health and the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) on the safety, risk assessment and risk management of vaccines." The committees inaugural meeting was held on March 13, 2013 TGA has international harmonisation arms In Feb 2012 the WHO set a Blueprint for WHO Global Vaccine Safety Initiative ACSOV handled vaccine safety and risk assessment only and all other "pre-market functions for vaccines" was handled by the Advisory Committee on Prescription Medicines (ACPM). Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO) is created

In 1993 the Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO) is created through the merger of the Industrial Biotechnology Association and the Association of Biotechnology Companies both small Washington-based biotechnology trade (and lobby) organizations, who hired Washington veteran Carl B. Feldbaum as their first president. In 1993 there were but a handful of biotechnology drugs and vaccines on the market and the human genome project was only recently begun. BIO hosts the largest biotechnology annual event in the world, which "dates back to 1987, when the Association of Biotechnology Companies hosted an international conference in Washington, D.C., that exceeded expectations by attracting 155 attendees", which grew to 1,400 in 1993 and 14,000 by 2001. Home of the BMJ is founded

On July 19, 1832 Sir Charles Hasting's founded the Provincial Medical and Surgical Association (PMSA) which published a weekly medical journal. By 1856 they became the British Medical Association (BMA) known today as a registered trade union for doctors in the United Kingdom. [1] The Provincial Medical and Surgical Journal which began Oct 3, 1840 (which  happened to mention smallpox vaccination, an act performed by surgeons!), merged with the Association Medical Journal in 1857 to become the British Medical Journal (BMJ). [2] The BMA Medical Reform Committee after 20 years of negotiation successfully drafted and secured the passing of the Medical Act 1858, which established the General Medical Council and the Medical Register, therefore distinguishing, for the first time, between the qualified and unqualified practitioners - on their terms.  "This also positioned the BMA to play a major role in future medical politics, campaigning on issues such as Poor Law Medicine, quackery, public health, alternative medicines and military medicine, and contract practice. During this time one of the most active and influential of the association's bodies was the Parliamentary Bills Committee, formed in 1863 to take a leading role in influencing legislation on public health matters" [1, 2]

USAID is established – World Peace or control?

On September 4, 1961, President John F. Kennedy signed the Foreign Assistance Act into law "which reorganized the U.S. foreign assistance programs including separating military and non-military aid. ...The Act mandated the creation of an agency to administer economic assistance programs"  On November 3, 1961, by Executive Order, President JFK established the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) [1] USAID's history dates back to post WWI.  It stems from the Truman's 1948 Economic Cooperation Act, known as the Marshall Plan named after Secretary of State Marshall who in 1947 voiced U.S. interest in rebuilding European economies after World War II, and then Truman's 1949 Act for International Development (Point IV) Program, as well as the 1961 establishment of the JFK inspired US volunteer Peace Corps. [5] USAID is "an independent federal government agency that receives overall foreign policy guidance from the Secretary of State."  It's "primary emphasis was on long-range economic and social development assistance efforts...Freed from political and military functions that plagued its predecessor organizations, USAID was able to offer direct support to the developing nations of the world." World Bank President makes 3rd World loans contingent upon sterilization quotas

On April 1, 1968 Robert S. McNamara takes up the role of the 5th President of the World Bank Group, having resigned as Secretary of Defense under President Kennedy and then President Johnson.  McNamara was a "staunch believer in population control" and in his lead "position he was able to dictate a new policy, making World Bank loans to Third World countries contingent upon their governments’ submission to population control, with yearly sterilization quotas set by World Bank experts. Cash-short and heavily in debt, many poor nations found this pressure very difficult to withstand."[1, 2] The World Health Organisation, the World Bank, IMF, USAID and BMGF work hand in glove "aiding" developing nations  which has morphed into "aiding" everyone. The International Monetary Fund (IMF) and International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (World Bank) were formed on December 27, 1945 following WWII, as permanent institutions, unlike the US "Marshall Plan" (a precursor to USAID) which "was specific: To stabilize Europe, not as a permanent program for European recovery but as an emergency tool of assistance". FDA: All safety doubts about vaccines are not allowed to exist

Published in the June 1, 1984 US Federal Register, and on the back of the polio vaccine fiasco, the FDA made very clear their protective policy position on polio vaccines: ..any possible doubts, whether or not well founded, about the safety of the vaccine cannot be allowed to exist in view of the need to assure that the vaccine will continue to be used to the maximum extent consistent with the nation's public health objectives...the importance of the vaccine and of maintaining public confidence in the immunization program that depends on it... "Note: This policy was likely made in response to concerns that the specific polio vaccines which later paralyzed were not the ones that had been tested in the clinical trials. Sadly, the FDA’s “solution” was to simply stop testing all the vaccine lots." Dr Eddy finds Polio vaccines contaminated with cancer causing virus – later identified as SV40

In 1959, Dr Bernice Eddy who was conducting polio vaccine safety studies discovered that an extract of monkey kidney cells used to propagate the polio vaccines was causing tumors in newborn hamsters. She surmised that the monkeys carried a cancer-causing virus which would later become known as SV40 - the 40th simian (monkey) virus discovered. Despite efforts to silence her new revelations, as it's public knowledge would threaten vaccine confidence, she went ahead and presented her data at an annual Cancer Society conference in New York in October 26, 1960. The NIH actively blocked her from publishing her findings and eventurally she was eliminated from vaccine research.  Her treatment was considered a scandal. Antibody studies shows lower IFR than expected, in line with flu

On April 11, 2020 a preprint study by John Ioannidis and Jay Bhattacharya et al, looking at 3,300 people living in Santa Clara and revealed that 1 in 66 people already had SARS-CoV-2-specific antibodies, a rate which extraporated out to around 2 million people already being infected, when at that same time the official number is only 1000.  This translates into an IFR of 0.12-0.5-2% which is in line with the flu. [1, 2] The sero-survey gives you a snapshot in time of who is infected in your given population.  The commercial tests can be used, which shows if a person had been infected for at least a week earlier, even if they have had no symptoms. It is an inexpensive way to get a lot of useful data. "Bhattacharya says the results probably undercount the prevalence in the wider population, because they miss anyone who has been infected too recently to have mounted an immune response, and exclude people in prisons, nursing homes and other institutional settings."
