Dr Scott W. Atlas is the Robert Wesson Senior Fellow in health care policy at the Hoover Institute of Stanford University and a fellow at Hillsdale College’s Academy for Science and Freedom. [1]
Dr Atlas served on the COVID-19 taskforce as an advisor to President Trump starting in late July 2020, but officially announced in August 2020. He resigned at the end of November 2020.

[Fauci’s] de facto leadership in the management of the pandemic was the biggest healthcare crisis in a century. And he, along with Deborah Birx, the official leader of the medical side of the White House Task Force at the time, have a legacy of not only leading the biggest fiasco of public health emergency in history, but also causing a long lasting and severely damaged younger generation of children. We have yet to see the full impact of that. Fauci’s final legacy will be the tremendous destruction of trust in public health and in science. I’m not sure how we will recover from that.
