At a July 15, 2022 UN Economic and Social Council political forum in New York, the Ministers and high representatives on the theme “building back better from the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) while advancing the full implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development” declared that the 2023 Sustainable Development Goals Summit in New York would mark the beginning of a “new phase of accelerated progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals” [1, 2, 3, 4]

This will be the second SDG Summit, since the adoption of the 2030 Agenda in September 2015.  With a “decade of action” to go!
